Miranda At The Tracks - 2/19/2011

Based on an online photo challenge named, "Nowhere", we ended up with these photos.  I got Miranda, some props, and headed to our location at the railroad tracks.  I was just looking for something that would conjure up a desolate, isolated setting.  We ended up with some good shots.  

It was rather funny watching the cars drive by while we were out there.  It took us about 3 weeks to get the final results from the online photo challenge.  There were 186 entries, and the first photo below came in 1st place.  Miranda was very excited to find out her photo had won!

Luke Daniel - 3/5/2011

We had the pleasure to meet Miranda’s newest cousin, Luke Daniel.  He was only 8 days young for these photos, and was on his best behavior.  Even his sister, Jillian, decided to get in on the action.  I believe we got some beautiful shots of each of them.  We also had a great afternoon spending some time talking with Amanda and capturing some precious memories of Luke and Jillian.

Here are some shots of Miranda in front of a neighbor's barn.  Granny commented that "she looks so old in these pictures, you would never guess so is only 5 years old."  Well, yes they just seem to grow up way too fast...

Hello, and welcome to our blog.  McCardel Photography is my wife, Leslie, and myself, Michael.  We both have a passion for photography, and have 3 beautiful models in our family (also known as our beautiful children).

We don't know where this blog will take us, but our plan is to chronicle our photographic adventures with our future family, friends, and clients.  We look forward to growing with you on this blog, as we learn more about the world of "blogging" and seeing where our passion for photography takes us!
